LONGEVITY FITNESS SIGNS LEASE FOR NEW PILATES STUDIO AT FRESHFIELDS VILLAGE ON KIAWAH ISLAND

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. (August 7, 2024) – Longevity Fitness will be opening a new boutique health club and Pilates studio on Kiawah Island, following the signing of a lease for a 1,610 square-foot space at Freshfields Village, the premiere resort village catering to the affluent private islands of Kiawah and Seabrook. Tim Rowley of Coldwell Banker Commercial Atlantic represented Longevity Club Kiawah in the transaction. The lessor is EDENS, owner of Freshfields Village, a 192,000 square-foot mixed-used town center. The new storefront for Longevity Fitness will be at 635 Freshfields Drive, Suite 200.

“I am excited to work with Jennie Brooks as she expands her successful fitness business to open Longevity Pilates Kiawah, serving the island clientele with a studio combining unpretentious luxury with genuine hospitality,” said Rowley.

Brooks launched Longevity Fitness in 2015 by leasing a 2,577 square-foot studio on top of a medical office building at 163 Rutledge Avenue in downtown Charleston, adjacent to the Medical University of South Carolina. In 2019, she expanded and doubled the fitness center in size to 5,200 square feet. Then, in 2021, she bought the entire 14,179 square-foot building and rebranded the location as the Longevity Club, a destination for Pilates, personal training, small group fitness classes, and holistic care, all presented with a thoughtful, tailored approach. The experience is designed to provide a fitness center that feels like a spa. Brooks is now happy to be branching out from downtown Charleston to Kiawah Island, a luxury resort barrier island about 25 miles south of Charleston.
